Editorial Submissions
Feature Weddings:
A CD, DVD or flash drive with 50-100 images that tells the story of the entire day, as well as a brief blurb on the couple, how they met, any important/compelling wedding details, and a list of vendors. It is preferable that the images sent are high resolution, but should you prefer to send low resolution images to start, the image must exist at 300 dpi and be 9.5x12 inches should it be chosen for inclusion.
Submission of a wedding indicates that you have attained any releases or permissions to do so. Weddings submitted will be considered as a whole and in part (i.e. various sections including cakes, tabletops, table of contents, etc.) for the magazine, our website and blog unless otherwise requested. All weddings submitted cannot have been published elsewhere in order to be considered. This includes other wedding publications, wedding blogs and e-zines. This does not include your own company’s website or blog.
In order to have the best chances of being considered, submit early and often.

Spring/Summer Deadline: September 1st or the first business day thereafter
Fall/Winter Deadline: March 1st of the first business day thereafter
Miscellaneous Images: An email call out will be sent approximately one month prior to the wedding submission deadline with all of the specifications. This covers sections like cakes, tabletops, boutonnieres, etc. If you do not believe that you are on the call out list please fill in your information on the email signup tab on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/WeddingStyle.
Due to the high volume of submissions, we are only able to contact you only if we plan to use your pictures. Please note, submissions will not be returned.

Option 1:
Post a folder on your server containing your files and send us an email povilas@weddingstylemagazine.com
and copy paula@weddingstylemagazine.com indicating FTP access credentials (IP address, user name,
password) for your server or a direct link. We will access and download the folder.
Option 2:
Log onto our server via FTP and post your materials contained in a folder named by your business name.

If you manage to keep your total files size under 2MB you can email them to

Web Submissions
Following are the new specifications for photographs and video associated with your Platinum Member profile. If you would also like to change or update the body copy of your profile, include a separate word document or text file. Although email may seem to be the easiest way to send us your new materials, improperly prepared or incorrectly sized files, photographs in particular, can pose a problem. Emails with attachments that exceed 2 MB may be rejected by our email server or files may become corrupt and unusable.
Depending on your technical level of expertise working with image manipulation programs such as Photoshop or FTP transfer programs, we are offering a few different ways for you to get your materials to us. Please review them and see which one you are most comfortable with.
But first here are the specs.
PHOTOGRAPHS
16 images
jpg format it is important that you name your files by your business name for id purposes.
ex. my-business-name-01.jpg and not grace-ormonde-1.jpg or weddingstyle-2.jpg etc.
590 pixels wide X whatever they conform to tall
72 dpi. (high quality output setting in Photoshop)
(Each photo file will be approximately 80KB to 120KB-therefore 12 images would be about 1.5 MB total)
VIDEO
Those of you who had a video associated with your profile on the old site can resubmit it with the following specs:
Aspect ratio first choice- 16:9 (1280x720 HD if available)
Aspect ratio second choice- 4:3
File format:
choice #1: Quicktime (.MOV) - preferably Quicktime 7 (H.264)
choice #2: Flash video (.FLV) version 7
choice #3: Windows Media Video(.WMV or MPEG4) not recommended
HOW TO SEND US YOUR FILES (For Video files, you can only use options #1 or #2)
