Joe photographed his first wedding twelve years ago, at the age of 23. He has earned degrees in both photography and cinematography, which have trained him to be a visual storyteller. In 1995, Joe launched his distinctive style of wedding photojournalism in Southern California and became known as Joe Photo.

Joe's passion for wedding photography has also earned him many international awards. Since first competing four years ago at the largest wedding photography conference in the world, Joe has won 1st and 2nd place awards in the wedding photojournalism and engagement portrait categories.

His wedding images have been featured in numerous publications such as Grace Ormonde's Wedding Style, Elegant Bride, Wedding Dresses, Southern California Modern Bride, Sposa, San Diego Bride & Groom, Studio Photography & Design, Los Angeles Magazine, Rangefinder, Wedding Bells and The Knot Wedding Pages, as well as in the new book "The Best of Wedding Photography".

His weddings have been seen on NBC's "Life Moments" and the Lifetime channel's "Weddings of a Lifetime". Joe was recently selected as the exclusive photographer for Lifetime's newest wedding reality show "My Best Friend's Wedding" which aired in June of 2003.

Joe travels the world for weddings and special events.
