And It Worked

Priscila Pereira Nunes and Alexandre Silvestre de Faria Luz met at a birthday party for a mutual friend back in October of 2007. Afterwards, the same mutual friend, set up a triple date for Priscila and Alexandre, Alexandre's brother and Priscila's sister and him and his girlfriend ... "and it worked! All three couples are still together," says Priscila. "We got married, our friend and his girlfriend have a baby girl, and Alexandre's brother and my sister are still dating."

"We completely fell in love with each other," shares Priscila who dated Alexandre for almost a year and a half years before they got engaged. "Alexandre was asking: 'When are we going to get married?' I looked at him, a little bit afraid of his question, about how much he would like to get married, and I didn't know," remembers Priscila blurting: "It can be right away."

Very happy about their decision, they married just two months later. "We bought the suit and the dress; we booked the hotel and the band; we booked the hairdresser and all the vendors. It was a small wedding and we just invited our closest family," smiles Priscila. "In total, there were eleven people in that special moment and we didn't regret a thing. Everybody was very happy, enjoying delicious food and a beautiful environment."

"We are a very easygoing couple," says Priscila. "We like to do the same things like playing sports, watching movies and television series, going to the cinema, going out for romantic dinners and spending time together. Alexandre is a very romantic man and he does a lot of thing to spoil me! He often wakes me up with breakfast in bed. He often buys me red roses. I love everything that he does, always!"

"We stayed at that perfect hotel for four days and spent your honeymoon there as well. It was magic!" explains Priscila, who is thankful for "having a great life, in a beautiful city called Florianopolis surrounded by our family and friends!"
