Cameron Kashani and Avesta Rasouli met in college when they were 19. After a nine-month courtship, they began dating in August and were married nine years after their anniversary. But that is not to say that Avesta wasn’t able to surprise Cameron with his proposal and their best man recorded the entire thing so that they would be able to watch it over and over again. 

While planning a winter wonderland wedding in the middle of summer brought its challenges, Cameron and Avesta were able to enjoy the entire process thank you to their amazing planner, Shideh Shahraies from Events by Shideh, and designer Annetta Babakhanie from Shirvan Design. Together, they were able to translate Cameron’s vision with blue lighting, an aisle that looked like a snow-covered forest, an amazing array of bluish gray and silver sparkles, and a commissioned hand-sculpted ice bar.

Even though the couple didn’t initially feel that The Beverly Hills Hotel suited their personalities, its ballroom—with its expansive chandelier—proved to be the perfect venue. For the nuptials, Cameron chose to incorporate some American traditions, such as bridesmaids and vows, into the culturally rich Persian ceremony. Stationer, Ferial Aryeh, created a unique monogram that the couple used throughout the wedding from the invitations to place settings and even on the cake. But in the end, the best part was being able to celebrate their incredible love for one another with all of their amazing friends and family.
