Gemma and Paddy met in Papagios Bar in Vale Do Lobo, Portugal in the Summer of 2003. For three years, they had an ongoing summer romance. Their lives went in different directions in 2006 with college and career moves. However, they remained good friends throughout. Eventually their paths crossed, again, and they joined in 2011.
Having spent so many years as friends, they were already very close so their relationship blossomed quickly despite commuting back and forth between Dublin and London.
HAVING SPENT SO MANY YEARS AS FRIENDS, THEY WERE ALREADY VERY CLOSE SO THEIR RELATIONSHIP BLOSSOMED QUICKLY.
Eventually Gemma decided to move back to Ireland and on the night before the big move, Paddy popped the question. It was a perfect start to their life together, in Dublin, where they had a fun year of celebrations and planning for their wedding. They both loved the idea of getting married where they first met in Vale do Lobo. There, they had an amazing week of celebrations and happiness.
The wedding day was spectacular and far more than they could have ever dreamed. They enjoyed their big day in Portugal with family and friends and then their honeymoon to Las Vegas, but this time Elvis style.
