GO: When did your shop first open?

A: Elizabeth Johns Bridal Couture opened its Morristown NJ location in April of 2012.

GO: Which high-end bridal designers does Elizabeth Johns currently stock?

A: Both of our locations carry a wide variety of high-end bridal designers such as Mira Zwillinger, Romona Keveza, Lihi Hod, Reem Acra, Ines by Ines Di Santo, Amsale, Tal Kedem, Peter Langer and so many more!

GO: Who are some of the most popular designers among your clientele?

A: Our brides have always loved the classics like Reem Acra, Romona Keveza and Amsale; but with new additions like Lihi Hod, Ines di Santo, Peter Langner and Jesus Piero, they have been so excited to see an even BIGGER selection than ever before!

GO: Are bridal appointments required for wedding dress shopping at Elizabeth Johns?

A: Yes! To ensure the best service, we require an appointment. This way, we can match you with a consultant who will contact you prior to your appointment to chat, get to know you and your vision, so you feel right at home when you walk through our doors.

GO: Ideally, how far in advance should a bride purchase her gown?

A: We recommend purchasing your gown a year in advance. This ensures you won’t run into rush fees or delays from the designer and will give you ample time for alterations when the gown arrives.

GO: What advice do you have for brides in search of the perfect wedding dress?

A: 1. While we always recommend doing your research, be open to your stylist’s suggestions – they are the professionals!

2. Come prepared to find "the one." That is your stylist’s job, and boy are they good at it!

3. Know your budget and clearly communicate that with your stylist.

4. Do not bring anyone to your appointment who is not crucial in your decision making process. While wedding dress shopping is SO fun, it can easily take a turn with too many opinions and personalities that will distract or take away from your experience.

GO: Are there any bridal fashion trends that stand out to you this year?

A: We are seeing a lot more color being incorporated into wedding gowns as well as prints and texture. These trends are a really beautiful way of making an otherwise. simple silhouette pop and take on a new life. Loving these trends for so many reasons!

GO: Do you offer any additional services to brides during the wedding dress shopping experience?

A: Elizabeth Johns Bridal Couture offers a huge variety of services to our brides, from private VIB appointments, custom gowns and accessories, alterations, customizations, embroidery services, cleaning and preservation… the list goes on and on! We are here to help our brides have a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience and will do everything in our power to make their dreams come true.

GO: What special amenities do you offer brides-to-be when they book an appointment?

A: Our brides will celebrate the Elizabeth Johns way when they find their dream gown – with champagne! We also provide a special gift, our signature scent Elizabeth Johns candle.

At Elizabeth Johns, we have a beautiful relationship with our designer partners; and because of that, we are able to loan in most styles if we do not currently have the sample in our salons.
