    DANIELLE ROSEN & CHRIS TAMASI

June 19, 2021 in Miami Beach, Florida

After graduating from college in 2015, Danielle Rosen and Chris Tamasi both moved to San Francisco for jobs at LinkedIn. Chris started a few months before Danielle and started putting his English major skills to use – writing, publishing, and editing articles on LinkedIn.

When Danielle started a few months later, Chris presented about writing these articles at her orientation and offered to help anyone who had an idea. Danielle had an idea… for an article… so she went up to him after the meeting to schedule time.

“IT WAS A NIGHT WORTH WAITING FOR.”

After meeting, Danielle and Chris realized how well they got along. Eventually, Chris mustered the confidence to ask Danielle out on a date, where they ended up talking about their lives, their families, and their goals.

Over the course of many meals at restaurants around the city and accompanying long conversations full of laughter, they fell in love. They spent the next 3 years doing as much exploring as possible, before deciding to move back to the East Coast and into their small New York City apartment together. Chris learned more about interior design (and unfortunately had to send his framed college jersey back to his parent’s house). Danielle learned to appreciate Sundays during football season (or at least to make other plans!).

In June of 2019 Chris invited Danielle, their families, and dozens of friends to his “birthday party.” It turned out he had other plans. A few hours before the party, Danielle came home to Chris sitting on the couch of their apartment, smiling.

After she sat down and recounted her day, he pulled a little box out from under the couch cushion. He got on one knee, told her how much she meant to him, and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. She blurted “yes” before he finished his sentence. They then surprised all their friends and family and headed to an incredible celebration.

Afterwards, they dove into wedding planning and decided to tie the knot in Miami, near Danielle’s hometown in Fort Lauderdale. Working closely with their planner Sara Renee, they picked the Edition Hotel as the venue after falling in love with the organic, modern, luxurious aesthetic and incredible staff. However, as everyone knows, plans for 2020 weddings changed in an instant.

Danielle and Chris had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding to 2021; but they knew they didn’t want to wait to get married, so they decided to get married in the back courtyard of Danielle's childhood apartment in Manhattan in the physical presence of their immediate family and the virtual presence of many more tuning in via Zoom.

One year later, on the day before their first anniversary, Danielle and Chris honored their marriage with their closest family and friends with the Miami celebration they always imagined. The team at Xquisite Events created a stunning, modern, tropical paradise with delicious food and a packed dance floor thanks to Rock with U. It was a night worth waiting for.
