There is a lot to admire about Perigold’s platform. As a company who has always led with intentionality and uncompromising quality, Perigold has cultivated an aspirational marketplace of nearly half a million luxury home designs from over 1,000 suppliers around the world. In addition to their unique inventory, they also provide valuable services through their website and brick and mortar locations. Whether you’re looking to source inspirational images for your seasonal refresh, create a registry for one of life’s milestone moments, lean on their design services team for help with a renovation, or access perks associated with their trade program, they are truly a one-stop-shop for all of your home design needs.

As a next step in bridging the worlds of luxury home design and fashion together, Perigold partnered with style icon and entrepreneur, Olivia Palermo, helping to bring her ornate vision to life for her and husband, Johannes Huebl’s new Tribeca home. The collaboration has since introduced a new audience of design-minded consumers to the possibilities of the platform, solidifying Perigold’s position at the intersection of fashion, home and premium design.

Known for her sartorial eye, elevated style and impeccable taste, Olivia’s ability to tell a story through fashion and design are undeniable. In addition to her genuine love and appreciation for interior design, as a long-time consumer of Perigold’s products, the organic alignment seemed kismet for both brands to embark on their first design partnership together. “One of the reasons working with Olivia was very compelling to us was, here’s a really noted, respected style icon in the fashion world who clearly has a really great eye for style," shared Nancy Soriano, head of editorial and partnerships at Perigold, "This seemed like a fabulous opportunity to not only make that connection between fashion and home, but show how these communities - which are often not thought of in the same bucket - really are very much aligned.”

The overall design process was led by Olivia herself, spearheading direction and the selection of pieces while working in tandem with Perigold’s design services expert, Elisabeth Gunshenan to execute essential steps throughout the process; creating floor plans, rendering moodboards, assembling products, delivery, installations, etc. The result? A one-of-a-kind home, thoughtfully layered with varying textures, patterns and materials that not only acutely reflect Olivia’s personal style, but demonstrates the incredible breadth of Perigold’s capabilities. “Olivia really showed how the curation of a marketplace can create a very distinctive personal space”, said Soriano. “When you look at Olivia's apartment, and you look at how Olivia dresses, it really is quite similar. You see that space and you see her and you’re not surprised that that’s her home, but you might be surprised by how those pieces come together.”

Ultimately, Perigold and Olivia’s teamwork resulted in an intricate collection of nearly 300 pieces from 50 suppliers, carefully curating every inch of the space together. The project also marked a new chapter in the evolution of luxury online shopping by providing customers the opportunity to purchase the collection directly through their website, Perigold.com. Some of our favorites include centerpieces such as the Maitland Smith Chinoiserie Bar Cabinet, the Zoffany Rotherby Wallpaper and the Fine Art Handcrafted Crystal Laurel Chandelier set above their Wildwood Clint Center Table.

Likewise, the accent decor is just as enticing. From the luxurious textiles by Eastern Accents, hand-made glass vases from Global Views and the flat-beveled mirrors from Freidman Brothers, the space is personal and expertly styled, just as one would expect from these two brands coming together. “Home is such an important space,” says Soriano. “It’s the balance of private and personal but, it’s also a public space - you have people over, you entertain - and I feel everyone should have the ability to live in a space that they feel really good about.”
