A Destination Wedding IN Lake Garda With an Abundance of white florals

It was the summer of 2018 when Rebecca and Kevin first met. The two were introduced through a mutual friend while they were both living and working in Charlotte, North Carolina. Simply put, it was a perfect example of being in the right place at the right time.
“The attraction was immediate, but the love came slowly,” Rebecca explains. “And that's what made it so special. We built our relationship largely through long distance for the first year and a half, which meant we truly got to know each other on a deeper level. That time apart became the foundation of an incredible trust and friendship, which we believe is at the heart of any lasting relationship.”

“Flowers, flowers, and more flowers—but in the most elegant, intentional way.”

A Rooftop Proposal in New York City
The engagement took place while the couple was enjoying a weekend getaway in New York City, staying at the Equinox Hotel. Kevin arranged a private rooftop proposal overlooking the Hudson River after lunch—a moment that was intimate, beautiful, and completely authentic.
“It was exactly what I had always hoped for,” Rebecca adds. “Just the two of us, in a quiet moment that felt like the whole world had paused. What I didn't know was that a family friend photographer was discreetly there to capture every second, so we could relive it forever.”

The Destination Wedding Experience
Rebecca and Kevin decided to host a destination wedding in Lake Garda, Italy. Even with all the logistics and coordination required for a muti-day event overseas, the couple made the most of the entire experience.
“Honestly, the planning process was something I truly enjoyed,” Rebecca shares. “Having my matriarchs—my mother and grandmother—so lovingly involved made it incredibly special, and our wonderful wedding planner, Luba of Primavera Dreams, kept everything running seamlessly. With that kind of support surrounding us, it never felt overwhelming—just exciting and full of love from start to finish.”
The wedding celebration consisted of four events spread across four days. It was one of the couple’s favorite decisions they made, as it gave them “the rare gift of truly savoring the celebration rather than watching it blur by.” Each event brought a unique atmosphere and energy to the overall guest experience, offering multiple experiences within the same beautiful chapter.

An Abundance of White Flowers
When it came time for the wedding day itself, the décor consisted of an abundance of white florals. As the bride describes the design, it was “flowers, flowers, and more flowers—but in the most elegant, intentional way.”
The minimalist color palette of all-white blooms and greenery kept the décor feeling fresh and refined. Even on Isola del Garda, the flowers transported everyone to the Italian countryside. From the breathtaking floral chuppah, to the cocktail hour, to the live artists, to the DJ who kept the dance floor alive all night, every detail was thoughtfully considered and executed to perfection.

“There are almost too many emotions to name,” says the bride. “Excitement, love, joy, gratitude, pure happiness. We truly had the time of our lives, and we are endlessly grateful for every person who poured their love and effort into making our wedding so extraordinary. Looking back at our photos and videos never gets old. Each time feels like revisiting the happiest days of our lives. We can't wait to one day share those memories with our children and show them what it looks like when love is celebrated with everything you have. And if our guests are any indication—many of whom still tell us it was the best wedding they have ever attended—we think we pulled it off!”

Honeymooning on the Amalfi Coast
After their Lake Garda wedding, Rebecca and Kevin made their way to the Amalfi Coast for a blissful honeymoon. The newlyweds stayed at the stunning Hotel Santa Catarina, spent a sun-soaked day at Arienzo Beach Club in Positano, drifted along the coastline by boat with a memorable lunch at Conca del Sogno, and explored the charming hilltop town of Ravello and its surrounding villages.
“Every meal was an experience in itself,” says Rebecca, “and every moment felt like a dream we didn't want to wake up from.”
