    NICOLE CONIGLIO & KEVIN GLENN

October 26, 2019 in New York, New York

Nicole Coniglio and Kevin Glenn’s love story dates all the way back to the first day of 7th grade, when they were assigned seats next to each other in Mr. Masser’s reading class. Kevin was new to the school and, while they had only just met in class, Nicole’s vivacious personality offered him a sense of comfort and familiarity, and an immediate crush developed. There was only one small problem – Nicole was already “dating” another boy in class and was strictly interested in being friends. Fast forward through middle school, and Kevin remained persistent. Their friendship grew stronger throughout the years, but it wasn’t until Junior year of High School that they finally decided to make their romantic relationship official.

Throughout all four years of college, the pair continued their relationship long-distance; and upon graduation, they reunited in Manhattan and moved in together a few years later. As they neared almost 9 years together, Nicole was growing playfully impatient with Kevin about not popping the question, to which he would reply by simply saying, “I hear you, but 2018 is not your year!”

THE MOST EPIC PARTY AND CELEBRATION THEIR GUESTS HAD EVER EXPERIENCED.

A few months later, Nicole found out that 2018 was, in fact, “her year.” On a rainy November night, Kevin told Nicole they were going to a fancy restaurant in Dumbo, Brooklyn to meet his new boss. When their company were “running late,” Nicole suggested they stop next door for a drink at her favorite restaurant, Cecconi’s. Anticipating this suggestion, Kevin had already arranged a private room at the restaurant. So, after he got down on one knee by the waterfront overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge, he surprised her with a room full of their closest family and friends.

The wedding planning process began, and while Kevin let Nicole and her parents handle most of the details, there was one thing they both felt strongly about: it had to be “the most EPIC party and celebration their guests had ever experienced.” And it was.

Guests were greeted by a twelve-foot escort card tree with table assignments hanging from crystal strands on paper leaves. They were then ushered into the candlelit ceremony filled with eleven-foot-tall trees of mountain laurel branches entwined with white orchids. The cocktail hour featured glamourous, modern décor and offered options from a variety of cuisines.

When the florist escorted Kevin and Nicole into the ballroom, they were in complete awe of what was quite literally the most beautiful room they had ever seen. The ballroom was covered in white flowers and anchored by a large crystal chandelier installation centered over the white lucite dance floor. The band rivaled the decor in excellence and there was not a single second that guests were not packed on the dance floor. It was truly a night to remember and the most incredible night of their lives.

Three months later, after reveling in the excitement of their wedding, the newlyweds left for their honeymoon in Singapore, the Maldives, and Dubai. The Maldives was definitely the most special, unforgettable, and beautiful part of the trip that they hope to one day return to with their future children.
