    ALLA KOSOVA & SCOTT LAROQUE

    June 9, 2018. Ravello, Italy

Alla Kosova was at a party in Las Vegas, taking in the scene from the VIP section, when she asked a friend to find her a husband. Her friend looked at the crowd and pointed to a stranger, who turned out to be Scott LaRoque. Impressed with her friend’s pick, Alla motioned for Scott to come over for a proper introduction.

That first encounter turned out to be rather awkward, as Alla didn’t know what to do or say once she met Scott. She ended up dismissing him, which she immediately regretted. “I went on the dance floor and started dancing with some other girl,” Scott recalls. “As I was walking off, she chased me down and apologized.”

“I FEEL SO BLESSED TO SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY”

The next day, Alla called Scott and picked him up in her Ferrari for their first date. At the time, Scott was an up-and-coming entrepreneur, whereas Alla had already built a successful business, sold it, retired, and apprenticed as a hobby. “I was pretty nervous,” he shares. “I had a $20 dollar shirt on, so I went to the Bellagio to find an ironed shirt. I ended up having to buy one from Giorgio Armani, and I still have it.” Today, the couple refers to that shirt as Scott’s “first investment in their relationship.”

Despite any differences in their professional lives, Alla was more than happy with her new love interest. “As hot as he is–we’re talking a 50 out of 10–he has this humility to him,” she says. “He’s driven, but he’s still down to earth. You don’t find many people like that nowadays.” In 2014, the two sealed the deal when Scott proposed at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

For the bride and groom-to-be, the wedding planning process was nothing short of life changing. “Our guests say we have ruined every wedding they have ever been to or will ever go to,” Alla shares. “Preston Bailey also did our flowers, and he was just incredible.” With wedding planner Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events at the helm, everyone’s hard work culminated in a spectacular five-day destination wedding in Italy.

Kicking off their wedding week with a welcome night gathering, Alla and Scott had an epic itinerary of events planned for their 120 guests. There was a beach day; a night when guests boarded a sailboat, with sails donning the couple’s family crest, and headed to an all-white party at a nightclub; and car enthusiasts were elated when their very own Mille Miglia was created, featuring antique cars brought in from Monaco. Each guest was able to drive a car for the day, and the women received Dolce & Gabbana scarves while the men were gifted with Ray-Ban sunglasses.

When the wedding day arrived, the bride walked down the aisle in a custom Reem Acra gown, and the groom was dressed in a Tom Ford suit made from custom LaRoque fabric. After being pronounced as husband and wife, guests were in awe when Andrea Bocelli appeared and began to sing–a surprise the couple had kept secret.

An immaculate all-white reception followed, and every detail exceeded the couple’s expectations. “I feel so blessed to share this experience with friends and family,” says Scott. “We’ve experienced so many cultures from around the world, and it’s a gift to be able to share that with other people.”

Between the two of them, the newlyweds have seven children. So, to begin their multi-month honeymoon, they spent time in Rome as a family until the kids flew home with their grandparents. Alla and Scott then went country hopping around destinations like Spain, Portugal, and even attended some World Cup matches.

“As a couple, we’re really big on experiences,” says Alla. “That’s the only thing you can spend money on that can make you richer. My life is a permanent honeymoon.”
