    AMANDA DAVID & J.P. GREENE

April 21, 2018. Miami Beach, Florida

Amanda David and JP Greene met nearly three years ago at Monty’s in Miami. “We were each enjoying a night out when JP’s smile caught my eye from across the room,” Amanda recalls. “His magnetic smile pulled me over to his table where we talked for over an hour. Then we moved to American Social with our friends. When the evening was over, JP was left hoping he would see me again.

Two weeks later, one of my friends invited me to a party in her apartment building. When I got there, it was JP who opened the door. JP said that somehow, he knew that I would be on the other side and that ‘it was fate that brought us back together again.’ We both ‘just knew’ this was a sign that we should be together.”

On April 22, 2017, JP sent Amanda on a scavenger hunt, allowing her to enjoy an activity-filled day with friends and family (some even flew to Miami for the event). When she returned home, JP greeted her by singing her favorite song, “Die A Happy Man,” and got down on one knee to ask what Amanda refers to as “the easiest question she ever had to answer.” Their friends and families then came together to celebrate the engagement.

Amanda’s mother took charge of the wedding planning process; and with the help of the talented Jose Graterol, the couple’s vision for their dream wedding was brought to life. During the big day, the bride and groom prepared themselves in separate suites with their bridal parties, sipping champagne, laughing, and getting primped.

“Before seeing JP for the first time, I got a letter from him,” Amanda describes. “Once I read it, I knew that I was about to marry the man of my dreams. Then walking up behind him on the beautiful white staircase and him turning around smiling down at me, I knew I was ready to make him my husband.”

The ceremony space had a modern ambiance dressed in a color palate of white and mixed metals. A stunning Chuppah provided the perfect spot for the couple to exchange vows, and several guests still comment about it being the “most beautiful wedding they have ever been to.” The reception décor was a representation of the bride’s love of blue and agate, creating an elegant and detail-oriented atmosphere that looked as if it sprung from a modern day fairytale.

Amanda says, “We did not go on a honeymoon yet due to our jobs; however, we will be going to Greece next summer and we could not be more excited.”
