Engaged on a Gondola
In October of 2020, Arthur surprised Suzy with a romantic proposal on a gondola. As they enjoyed a glass of champagne against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset sky, their gondolier serenaded them with Suzy's favorite Italian love songs. To Suzy's delight, Arthur had secretly arranged for a message in a bottle to float by, containing her proposal letter. Overwhelmed with emotion, she turned to find Arthur, asking for her hand in marriage.

When it came time to start planning a wedding at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, Yan and Charles were thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with several talented vendors. Located in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Villa Ephrussi is one of the most beloved wedding destinations in France, and the couple knew it’d be the perfect location for their celebration.

Their wedding day, June 4th, 2022, was a dream come true at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort in Laguna Niguel. Surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated their love with traditional Armenian customs.
The outdoor ceremony was nothing short of magical, with the beach providing a stunning backdrop as they exchanged heartfelt vows. Suzy's royal-length veil gracefully trailed behind her as she walked down the aisle, adding an ethereal touch to the moment.
Edgar Hay’s thoughtful decorations of greenery and white roses accentuated the natural beauty of the surroundings, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The wedding reception was a lavish affair, adorned with vibrant red roses and crystalized doves hovering above the sweetheart table. Suzy was especially delighted by the surprise, as her Galia Lahav wedding gown was aptly named, "The Dove."
A European Adventure
Following the wedding festivities, Arthur and Suzy embarked on a romantic journey through Italy and Greece, exploring picturesque cities like Lake Como, Venice, Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Mykonos and Santorini. Their honeymoon was a whirlwind of European adventure and romance, and they hold onto those cherished memories as if they happened only yesterday.
