    BIANCA D’AGOSTINO & ZACH BOGOSIAN

August 14, 2015 in Newport, Rhode Island

Zach Bogosian first met Bianca D’Agostino in Winnipeg, Canada, through a set up by mutual friends and one of Zach’s family members. Although there were some nerves involved, their first impressions of each other exceeded their expectations. “We felt that we truly clicked during the short time we spent talking before we first met in person,” Bianca says. “To be completely honest, we officially fell for each other at first sight and first embrace. It was an immediate feeling of comfort–like a couple that could have been together for years.”

During a romantic trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley, California, Zach proposed while the couple was visiting a vineyard called Antica. He had set up a private tour and at the end of the tour, he and Bianca were overlooking the Napa vineyard when he popped the question.

“IT WAS AN IMMEDIATE FEELING OF COMFORT–LIKE A COUPLE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR YEARS.”

The couple credits their wedding planner, Wendy Joblon, for making the wedding planning process as effortless and enjoyable as possible. While it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all the details that go into planning such a special day, Bianca and Zach were able to focus on the excitement and anticipation of their wedding.

Once the big day arrived, the entire experience was absolute perfection. “I don’t think there were much nerves floating around between the both of us–we were just ready to tie the knot!” the bride says. “We were surrounded by our amazing family and friends, on the most beautiful day, at the most beautiful venue. I don’t think we could have asked for a better day.”

For the wedding reception, the décor created a fun, romantic, and classy ambiance. White and blush-colored roses and candles were used for the centerpieces, while large crystal chandeliers hung overhead. A dim, purple lighting scheme and touches of silver were also used, which paired perfectly with the white color theme of the room.

“The flowers, lighting, and décor created the most perfect atmosphere we could have dreamed of,” says the bride. “On top of the aesthetic beauty, the food was unbelievable from start to finish. And the musical entertainment really put the icing on the cake.” The newlyweds and their guests got the party started early with music and dancing, which was the exact type of celebration they had wanted.

At the end of the wedding day, they were both simultaneously overjoyed and exhausted. “The anticipation at the beginning of the day, to the emotions in the middle of the day, to the celebration at the end of the night left us quite tired,” Bianca describes. “But the overall happiness we felt was such an unbelievable once in a lifetime feeling. We are so fortunate to have met our better halves and spend the rest of our lives together.”
