    LISA MILLER & BRANDON ROGOFF

November 14, 2015 in Denver, Colorado

Despite living ten blocks from one another in New York City, it took Lisa Miller and Brandon Rogoff both–independently–moving across the country to San Francisco for the two to finally meet. Once they met, they knew immediately that they had met their partner and match.

Lisa and Brandon were clearly meant to be. The night before Brandon planned on proposing, the couple was robbed; but the one thing the seemingly professional burglars failed to take was the engagement ring Brandon had ready to give Lisa the next morning. Realizing that even a robbery failed to ruin their engagement, the couple knew it was a sign that they were “absolutely meant to be.”

“LISA KNEW SHE WANTED A CLEAN, MODERN AESTHETIC THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE WEDDING WEEKEND.”

The wedding planning process soon began and Lisa knew she wanted a clean, modern aesthetic to be woven throughout the entire wedding weekend celebration. Affair with Flair and Design Works flawlessly translated her vision for an elegant, chic, contemporary, yet warm and lighthearted event. Guests were mesmerized by each exquisite detail, from the pre-cocktail reception accessorized with romantic plexiglass candle lit bars, to the delectable finale featuring a scrumptious sweets display.

On the morning of the wedding, the bride’s father and two brothers-in-law kicked off the day by taking the groom out for breakfast–a sort of “official” welcome into the family.

The two spent time with their respective family and friends, which set a relaxed tone for the entire day leading up to that evening’s ceremony; and it perfectly mimicked the ease of their courtship, along with the palpable joy and love felt throughout the entire wedding weekend.

Although there was a sizeable guest list of 350 people in attendance, the ceremony and reception both felt intimate and personal. The bride and groom even presented each guest with a note of thanks along with their place cards, artfully constructed from plexiglass.

Towards the end of the celebrations, the newlyweds treated their guests to a late-night burrito cart–a real taste of Brandon’s hometown of San Diego–and a package of gifts celebrating the city of San Francisco, where they had built their home and life together.
