About WaterColor, Florida

As a master-planned coastal community that stretches 80 miles along the Gulf of Mexico, WaterColor was intentionally designed to combine modern luxury with the natural beauty of the Emerald Coast. It is located along Highway 30A, and stands out among other 30A beach communities due to its dedication to eco-friendly design and environmental stewardship.

Originally conceived by Cooper, Robertson & Partners for The St. Joe Company, open spaces and nature preserves make up nearly half of WaterColor’s 499 acres. Even the beach weddings in WaterColor are in a league of their own. White sand beaches may be common in Florida, but WaterColor’s sand is made of pure Appalachian quartz. Over thousands of years, these weathered grains of quartz washed down from the mountains, settling on the coastline below. Reflecting the sunlight off the Gulf of Mexico’s shallow surf, the quartz sand creates the most vivid shades of emerald and turquoise. It’s a wild, whimsical, and unexpected place to host a milestone celebration.
