Jennifer Hixson and Zane Weber first met in jail – yes, jail. It was 2006, and both were working as correction officers at a local jail in Las Vegas. It wasn’t until three years later, however, that Zane’s “piercing blue eyes and old soul charm” finally won Jennifer over.

“Zane proposed on Christmas morning of 2014, with my two sons by our side,” Jennifer describes. “He had a one-of-a-kind ring custom made, including a ‘W’ molded into the white gold, supporting a stunning diamond from the bottom, representing my new name. I could never imagine a ring more perfect!”

Immediately after the proposal, the wedding planning process began. The next day, Jennifer reached out to luxury Las Vegas wedding planner, Andrea Eppolito. They had connected years before via LinkedIn, and Jennifer kept Andrea’s information for when she got engaged.

“After three hours of great conversation and getting to know each other, I knew Andrea was our person,” Jennifer adds. “Twenty months of planning was then in the making, and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. All we had to worry about was showing up on our day!”

For the bride and groom, their wedding day was a true fairytale that they still relive through photos and videos. Jennifer’s two sons walked her down the aisle, setting the perfect ambiance of love and romance. The wedding décor was awash with white, an abundance of candles and chandeliers filled the event space, a five-star four-course dinner was served, and a custom chandelier cake added to the party’s grandeur. Even afterhours, the newlyweds continued celebrating with their guests and enjoying the beginning of a new life together.

“To see your wedding illustrated on paper during the planning process is one thing, but to see it come to life is another,” says Jennifer. “Our deepest dreams became a reality – our very own personal fairytale, telling our unique love story for all to see.”
