    JOYCE FERRER & TED LATIAK

September 13, 2012 in Tuscany, Italy

Ted and Joyce decide to get married in Tuscany after researching the best castle in the area, Castello di Gabbiano. The majestic and solemn castle dates back to the 12th century. It’s nestled in the most famous wine region of Italy, Chianti, just 20 kilometers from Florence Town; an area where the eyes are captured by rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves and small villages where everything is unchanged and authentic.

The couple had 70 fantastic guests coming from USA and Philippines. The mix made an extraordinary atmosphere of joy and people who wanted nothing better than enjoy this special day overseas!

THE MIX MADE AN EXTRAORDINARY ATMOSPHERE OF JOY AND PEOPLE WHO WANTED NOTHING BETTER THAN TO ENJOY THIS SPECIAL DAY OVERSEAS!

The ceremony was set on a terrace overlooking paradise: the Tuscan hills. Two sweet doves flying away together was the symbol of their love highlighted by the music of the string quartet. After the cocktail reception was the dinner in front of the castle.

The dinner was eaten from an impeccable, dramatically elegant U-shaped table that recalled the glories of the sumptuous dinners of the medieval period, where weddings were the most important events, and symbols of power and success.

Sara Mazzei, the proud wedding planner says, “The table setting was my special gift to the bride and groom. Joyce and Ted loved the cut-glass candelabras. We created a special atmosphere with small vases full of flowers, hundreds of votives, pink candles, silver cutlery and silver chargers.

A triumph of elegance that was more special after the sunset, creating the perfect frame for the most exciting moment of the day: the speeches. I am sure that the horseman and ladies of Middle Ages would have been proud to see this come back elegance worthy of the glories of that period.”
