Valeria Cavazos and José Lopez first met at a party. After José asked for Valeria’s phone number, they continued talking and decided to meet at a restaurant for their first date. Both were nervous beforehand. However, the odds were in their favor, as they clicked from the beginning and had very good first impressions of each other. That first date marked the start of a new chapter, and the rest is history.

The couple got engaged in Cancun. For Valeria, it was a total surprise. After traveling to Cancun together, José popped the question at a restaurant called Rosa Negra, and Valeria describes it as one of the best nights of her life.

She and José decided to host an intimate wedding at Grand Velas Riviera Maya, where a select few people would gather together for a small and elegant celebration in Playa del Carmen.
The bride was up at dawn. Despite some initial nerves, a whirlwind of makeup, hair, and wedding photo sessions quickly distracted her. By the time she remembered how big of a day it was, she was already standing at the altar with her groom. Everything happened so fast, and Valeria still says she’d love to relive every moment.
The entire wedding was planned with such careful attention to detail that it turned out exactly as the bride and groom had hoped. From the subtle personal touches to the delectable food, everything was perfectly set for an unforgettable celebration.
